Second Announcement
Professor Hsiang-Tung Chang (1907–2007), a native of Zhengding, Hebei Province, China, was a renowned neurophysiologist and is considered one of the founders of Chinese neuroscience research. Internationally acclaimed for his pioneering work on the physiological functions of neuronal dendrites, Professor Chang also played a foundational role in establishing the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO).
In recognition of his significant contributions to acupuncture anesthesia research in China, the Minor Planet Center of the International Astronomical Union named a minor planet in his honor in 2020. Professor Chang is deeply respected and admired by the people of his hometown in Hebei Province as a master scientist.
To honour the spirit of patriotism, innovative leadership, and rigorous scientific inquiry exemplified by the older generation of scientists and to inspire early career researchers, the 2024 Hsiang-Tung Chang Academic Forum: Brain Science Horizon & Collaboration Conference on Production, Study, Research, and Application (HTC Forum) will be held from October 18–20, 2024, in Xiong’an New Area, Hebei Province, China.
The HTC Forum will center around the theme “Science Leads, Humanity Thrives, and Economy Flourishes,” focusing on the academic frontiers of understanding the brain, protecting the brain, and advancing brain intelligence. This international platform aims to showcase groundbreaking achievements, facilitate expertise sharing, foster idea exchange, and promote collaboration across various academic disciplines. The HTC Forum warmly invites scholars, students, and professionals worldwide to gather in Xiong’an to discuss and shape the future directions of neuroscience research.

Registration fee invoice: The electronic invoice for conference registration fee (VAT ordinary invoice) will be issued uniformly by Shanghai Peipo Information Technology Co., Ltd. 4. Call for Abstract
Any unpublished, brain science-relevant research is welcome for submission as abstracts in either Chinese or English. Authorship, affiliation, and contact information are required. The email address for submission: naokexuexslt@163.com.
Deadline for submission: Aug 31, 2024. Abstracts will be included in the forum handbook. The forum will provide poster boards, and exhibition desks for products and achievements of science and technology.
5. Product exhibition
This conference cordially invites relevant enterprises and institutions to participate in exhibitions, promote products, and have face-to-face communication and exchanges with experts and scholars! The conference will arrange an exhibition hall of no less than 500 square meters for display. Exhibitors can apply in advance according to their respective area needs, and are also welcome to come to the venue to
choose a space. The conference will also arrange enterprise product technology reports or product demonstrations in the exhibition hall. Interested exhibitors can contact and apply in advance (Dr. Liu: 13564206849), and the conference organizing committee will arrange them in a unified and orderly manner.
